straight 8 invites you  to make a 3 minute film on one cartridge of super 8 mm cine film

you enter on our site.  you shoot on the roll we send you.   you send it back to us un-developed.  any edits and effects are made in-camera only.   you also upload an original soundtrack

the first time you even see your film (if it's great)  is at one of our legendary screenings, like the one at cannes film festival

there are no creative restrictions.  people join in from all over the world.  if you have a film in you we want to see it
