when you enter straight 8, everyone has the same deadline and no-one has a budget. we never set a creative brief. people make the films they want to make.
      what would you do with 3 minutes 20 seconds of silver screen time? you choose the story and you decide how it's going to be as a film. then just pull it off: on film, no re-takes, at a 1:1 shooting ratio.
      when you view your rushes it'll be your 'final cut' and your public premiere - all at once. this is filmmaking at it's rawest and purest.
