straight 8 app

there is now a straight 8 ios app

it's our digital take on the straight 8 filmmaking process: shooting in story order, only on your iphone

like straight 8 on super 8, it makes you really think through the shots you need to tell your story

because iphones are very different to super 8 cameras there are some big differences...

you can shoot synch sound - you can review a shot - you can get a second take of the last shot... but only if you delete the first take, first

once you commit each shot in your story, you move on to the next shot. no going back

your film does not come out looking like super 8. instead you can add great modern looks - always in-camera, as you shoot

you can add music too and you can share your film into the straight 8 app community

there's currently no competition version of digital straight 8 so have a play
