each has made a gr8 straight 8 in the past and not entered this year. They are the first to filter all the entries - each film is watched by at least two people. then the core straight 8 team selects which of the highest scoring films to present to the main jury.

made up of 8 fantastic filmmakers and industry professionals. they nearly all convened in person at the BFI IMAX to finalise the top 25, and agree the top 8.
